Avril Paton's "New Looks' exhibition opened in the 'new look' Mitchell Library in Glasgow.

The exhibition included Avril's later abstract works as well as her earlier more familiar pieces.

Formally the much loved reading room the space had been refurbished as a large and impressive exhibition area. 4,000 people visited the exhibition during its 5 week run. Twenty five percent of the profits from sales was donated to the charity ENABLE.
